nice Fish Bill
what was that....a cell phone camera
little on the blurry side... http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c6...&#^&s-bass.jpg |
Looks like a good one Bill.close to 4 feet long I'd say.
I got one a couple inches shorter and a couple pounds lighter last night. |
Raven, it was my camara which has been taking a beating, it was all wet etc..I have also gone though two cell phones this week! both got wet...WTF
|
bill
ahhhh ok on the camera deal...
but since your going thru cellphones too i recommend you look at the foodsaver vacume sealers at bj's wholesale.... (a pretty good price there) they also heat seal without vacuming.... then you could be sealing filets and phones and cameras until ya needem... and without question they'll be dry. just a suggestion... my freezer's full... and i like the super thick bags.... |
That's the fish I saw come over gunnel. Looks great!!
|

Nice fish! I second the dry bag for your cell phone, after i killed two phones I started using one.. If i could leave it home i would, but I have to carry mine...
|
nice fish.... for what it's worth if your looking for a good camera that's waterproof for majority of what type of fishing your doing(as long as it doesn't sink to the bottom) look at the Pentax WPi camera, decent photo with the no worries if it gets wet.... mine (my wifes) :usd: gets wet all the time in the salt and when i get home i just rinse it under some fresh running water and let it air dry then use a camera cloth on the lens. If you go that route just keep in mind that "cheap cards" are prone to humidity and while it won't mess up the camera it will mess up the pictures you take untill it gets back to normal...
A rod saver on a laynard for the boat and if your in the surf you can just wear it with a plain laynard around your neck under your upper wear... It will also take some bouncing on the rocks :smash: as i found out the hard way when i let my 4 year old son snap some pictures of hermit crabs and periwinkles... Neways... Nice fish.... :kewl: |

in a word velcro |
get yourself a plastic container with a snap on lid that will hold your items and glue/caulk it down onto your console so it won't slide around..good for plyers, number's book, knife.wallet etc...items stay dry in rain.
