tougher to cast imho. great drag and awesome for driftin eels, but to cast stick with a 7000

I use a 600 and have for a few years. I like the size/ capacity as well as the weight (3oz less than 700 Calcutta it replaced). I oil the bearings every few trips, which is not easy because it means removing 4 screws, but I have never had any problems at with either of them. The drag is good and they hold up to repeated salt baths very well.
As far as casting it is not going to win a tournament but it is quite castable if you have an 'educated thumb' it feels sort of like a Surfmaster. I'm very pleased with it.
