61st MV Derby Book & DRUMCORPFAN

Prominently displayed on almost every page in the 61st bass derby booklet given to patricpating fisherman is our on DRUMCORPFAN last years big winner. In one picture taken after weighing in the cow while standing in front of the weigh-in shack Leo looked like he was holding onto the fish with a death grip, so no one else would get to it.:rotf2: I have never seen one person in so many ppictures in the booklet in all the years I have fished the derby. Leo must have made in all seriousness a great impression on everyone.

Leo?

I didn't see the book over there. Did they have them at the weighin or one of the shops. Jimmy, yes.

kind of funny to see the pics, Never really thought about winning anything just wanted to fish in the derby. When i weighed in this years striper i still had my waders and aquaskinzs on with my hat pulled down low, was greeted warmly with here comes leo . Did not expect anyone to know me, Must have been all the pictures. :biglaugh:

How was the fishin??

tynan19 09-27-2006 10:21 AM

Lots of small fish. If you look at the weigh-ins there seems to be a lack of big fish around. Hopefully things change tonight.

i noticed only the one fish weighed in also, i guess i should have weighed in my 20#ber could have taken a 2nd:whackin:. I already got my 1st and 3rd daily, now i'm waiting for the one to bump the leader....I think others might be doing the same.... never know though:huh:
there shouldn't be any charge to park at wasque if you have a sticker? the ferry is $10 for car and driver plus $3 for eache passenger:nailem: :nailem:

tynan19 09-29-2006 03:18 PM

Wasque was 10 roundtrip for me and no charge for a passenger last time I was there. Saw some albies yesterday in close to shore but about 2 casts out. No fish breaking at sunrise on the drivable beaches yesterday.
