Two Handed Fly-Rod

Saw a gentleman, I forget his name, that is developing a 12', two-handed fly rod, much like a traditional surf rod that with practice, can yield greater than 150' casts with out the backcast... I'll try to get more info and get it on the site....

RE:Two Handed Fly-Rod

John, spay rod have been fishing salt water for a while. Not to meny people like using them. They are big an (combersume.)I think thats spelled write.I can fish but spell to save my life. anyways rods are made from 12'6 up to 16'11wt.you need to know how to rollcast theses big boys to use them efficently.Ive been fishing the surf w/a fly rod for a number of years an have always caught all my fish inside the first to second wave.Everyone seem to always wants to get further,
further out.If you need to get out that far, get a boat! spay rod have there place in fishing Steelhead,Salmon. Thats my thought.I have
never stocked them in the shop. they seen to be more of an odity to striper fishermen then anything else.GOOD LUCK,GOOD FISHIN.
