a slip

I just got off the phone with the FAA district up in Norwood. Henceforth, your jigs will be required to be equipped with red flashing lights :hee: :musc: :hihi:

At least friggin' mortar shells give you some warning :p

NIB 10-02-2006 11:30 PM

I was talkin with him, He told me he sent one ur way.
Unteathered.
I would seriously reconsider fishing there.

JohnR 10-03-2006 05:48 AM

The crack when it went supersonic was heard down here....

Slipknot 10-03-2006 06:06 AM

Slipknot 10-03-2006 06:09 AM

who changed my avatar? I was wondering why it said I was last logged in at 2:03 AM
Hmmmmmm
I guess my wife likes that avatar better, I think she doesn't like fall, oh well I'll see her in about a month I guess

NIB 10-03-2006 07:17 AM

Maybe she's tryin to say
"Remember this kid?, he's ur son"

Mike P 10-03-2006 07:55 AM

I heard the crack, thought about taking cover, and said "naw, even slip can't do that".

Landed 25 yards out, dead between me and diggin' jiggin's dad :uhoh:

RIROCKHOUND 10-03-2006 07:56 AM

Felt a buzz by my ear and thought it was a fly... nope Slips Jig...
BTW I was standing in SoCo :D !!!

NIB 10-03-2006 08:13 AM

Ur in the hard hat area..

Diggin Jiggin 10-03-2006 08:25 AM

Maybe Slip can selectively thin out the crowd.

Just aim for the lanterns :humpty:

NIB 10-03-2006 08:26 AM

For the record.

I was standing next to Slip last night ( and most nights) - to his right ( that's his casting arm side). I can hear his jigs goin' by my ear at about 200+mph. Slip assures me that if something goes horribly wrong and he takes my head off, that he will call and carry me to an ambulance.

Somebody please inform both my widow and my lawyer of this agreement if I am dead or comatose.

BTW, I hereby also leave all my fishing/equipment gear to Slip.

JP

Addendum:

Unless Slip is convicted of homicide.

likwid 10-03-2006 11:39 AM

Someone let me know when I can take my fullface helmet off.

Slipknot 10-03-2006 12:09 PM

You guys are something else

I have stood the same distance or closer with MikeP and NIB on my left and have heard the same sound of the jigs launchng. No worries Jim, I am not a sidewinder.

someday when my back is better I will try to reach the other side with a 6 ounce jig with the 1209 and saltiga combo. I will do it someplace and at a time wehere there is nobody on the other side.

JPowers 10-03-2006 12:32 PM

Slip - quote:
