Fishing Nets
 
There are fishing nets that begin on the shore and extend several hundred ft. into the narragansett bay and trapping the bait just before entering RI sound.
The chances of catching any fish down side of these nets has been deminished. It is not fair.

The fish traps have been in those sites for a long time.. a PITA but there are still fish to be caught around them... Traps are set in designated sites and are much less a PITA than lobster traps nearshore...
