Numbers Game
 

Fished long and hard this afternoon in the gale force winds in Marshfield. Tough going but the wind was blowing out so casting was ok. Started out as dink fest but they got bigger as the sun got lower and I taped 3 at 25-27". Sad year when I get excited to tape a fish because of the lack of large here this year. They were running up and down the beach all afternoon and I caught a ton. I'm on the crap list with the wife now because I told her a couple of hours and took 4. Thought it was going to be ok if I brought home a large but nada on that! Oh well it's nice to know the numbers are still there. It's gotta pay off sometime.:huh:

I never tell my wife a time, I get home when I am done, call me if you want.

After catching so many dinks this fall those 3 over 25" kept me out there a little longer than I planned. The wind died down at 5pm and the fish got real close to shore. I thought the big ones were around but nothing showed.

Last year I caught 20 schoolies , all 20 to 24 inches. Than out of no
were hooked a 36 incher. Yeah I would have stayed too.
