Trip To Rhody......Oh Deer!
 

So I am in Rhody today with Afterhours, and he is showing me a few spots and we are looking for some action......so we are by Cronin's Beach I think it was and we are going down the main road outside the entrance to the beach and I look in the neighbors yard and I see a deer with a line wrapped around its neck, standing in the middle of this yard as we drive by!!! I say to Don..."Did you see that??? There was a deer on a leash in that yard back there....and it had a nice rack!!!". Don looks at me like I am on drugs and I say, "Turn around and see for yourself!". So we turn around and sure enough there is a deer with a nice set of horns going through this yard about to cross the main street so I tell Don to pull up a bit so we can get a better look!!!! He does and suddenly this 200 pound 8 point buck is standing right in front of us like nothing is unusual about him being in the middle of the road at noon time!!!! What a far-reakin beautiful animal this was!!!!:uhuh:

It must have gotten tangled in someones clothsline!!

"looks like a pet deer on a leash" he says, yeah right. we go back and sure enough big buck with rope in it's antlers- magnificent animal!
