rjinhull 11-13-2006 07:58 PM

how far is the line??? i thought it was 5 miles
and the dumping grounds are between 10 -15 miles from boston
or are they closer to some other land??

holy crap thats a big mac.

i think roughly 2/3 of the dumping grounds are inside.
lots of other nice little things to fish around even closer in.

here's the map of state waters.
http://www.mass.gov/dfwele/dmf/marin...ies_102406.pdf

draw a line from thachers island gloustah down to the north river scituate.
anything west of that is state waters which puts most of the wrecks in the dump right on the line.
