I am interested, but still not up to speed on boat rods. What reels would pair up well w/ these rods? ie: if spinning, which size Baitrunner 3500, 4500, 6500? Do they have the butt end that lock into the rod holders (X)? Are they good size for stripers and blues? Where will they need to be picked up? Thanks

C-5...I live in Hanover Mass. The rods do not have the locking butt ends, I had Penn Powergraph 6000 reel on the Slammer and 4000's on the Power Sticks....they are great for stripers and blues.

Just figures>>> I was in Scituate two weeks ago. I don't know when I will get out that way next. I hate to pass on them..how soon do they need to picked up?

Larry - I'm away for the weekend and am interested in the penn slammer. be back late sunday. perhaps we can meet sometime early in the week?
