Winter Moths

The last week or so my area has been covered with the nasty little moths as it get dark. Anyone else seen these little defoliating buggers. Next spring I will need to spray early to avoid their destruction.

The brown four winged males are flying about while the females are wingless and come out of the soil around the bases of trees....end of November into January usually.... after they mate the female lays her egg clusters on the tree trunk.

Best time to spray is now....soil and trunks of afflicted trees.

Another Euro invasion :fishslap:
