AVG Anti-Spyware(formerly Ewido)

Run this program and you'll be amazed at what the other adware and spyware programs are missing.By far the best of the free programs.

I have been using it for a year or so I think after Norton screwd up my computer royaly. It was recommended by the computer geeks at work

I use Avast on a few machines and like it a lot, but AVG is another good freeware anti-virus program. Norton, especially the security suite package really seems to bog a machine down.

This is not the AVG anti-virus program its the old Ewido anti-spyware program now marketed as AVG 7.5 Anti-spyware.

I still use Avast as my anti-virus as Avira Anti-Vir PE Classic has still proven to be unstable though it finds and removes many more viruses
than AVG or Avast.
