Duxbury Beach

I good buddy of mine who works in Duxbury Bay as an Oyster farmer said while walking the front beach yesterday morning he came accross a blitz of birds and fish. He also said there was a ton of bait still around the bridge. What do you think of this? He wouldn't BS me on this but he knew I'd get a rise on his report. He didn't have any gear with him.

I know they were still picking up fish on the back side beaches last week so why not?

I actually thought of heading over that way late this past week as I had a feeling there might be some activity!

But I had already packed it away!

Big blues Fri.(12-1) in R.I. all on plugs upto 16 lbs. Did hear some fish over the weekend on bait on the bottom.

This is making me think of getting out there again even for just an hour or so at a few spots.

Tidalist 12-04-2006 04:13 PM

I was thinking the same until I woke up to 29 degree temps and snow on the ground! That signifies the beginning of fly-tying and rod-building season for me!
