Something new from surfhog

I call it Anguilla robertus ( my trake on the eel bob) :hihi:
great for soft plastics and of course dead eels. What makes this verson of the classic better is that the loop is not directly in line with the hook loop, so it will not roll- this one is 2.5 ounces and the hook is a 9/0 :smokin: I will be making them in many sizes- for calm water up to cape cod canal currents. enjoy- eben |
Looks like a fluke ball with a larger hook?
|
yep- bass ball. maybe i should call it the bass-ket ball :hihi:

bass-keeper ball

Hey! That thing would freakin' work! Take your dead eel, cut off his dead head, skin an inch or so back, cut out the fleshy stuff and pull the flap of skin over the ball and bounce along the sand on the beach at high water. Oh my GAWD, that would really work!
