Somethings a little cozy there.

If he sent you info for payment---that was after the auction ended, right? ;)
Follow it up with ebay. He's full of %$%$%$%$ about the power outage and not being able to "stop" the auction. |
Yea, you won't get your merchandise but ebay may whack the seller for violating his member agreement.

Be thankful...
Last year at about this time I happened upon a to good to be true deal on a new Van Staal on Ebay. $450 bucks... It turns out the seller was selling reels he didn't have to get enough money to meet a minimum order through a dealer in CT I believe. So it wasn't a true scam, but it was shady. When they said the reels would be delayed I was stupid and said I'd wait a few weeks...which ended up putting me past the 30 window to file a complaint for PayPal. After 30 days they won't do anything but lock their account. I did end up getting my money back, but it took about 6 months until I finally just said we were going to court. Which I obviously didn't want to do. What a mess. So count yourself lucky...and shop smart. -spence |
be very careful on ebay- always consider sellers feedback rating when bidding.
