Bruschi???

Anyone feel as though he has been somewhat.....quiet this season??? Not really making an impact??:hidin:

BigFish 12-10-2006 10:45 PM

Just checked his stats for the past few yars and I guess he is on par with the past few seasons....just seems like he is not in the forfront of the Pats game this season??

The Dad Fisherman 12-11-2006 08:19 AM

He shows up in the Play-Offs....big time

chief10 12-11-2006 11:08 AM

I agree. You never hear his name mentioned anymore.

Raven 01-02-2007 06:21 AM

the coach wants to have him retire with a fully working brain...

fishaholic18 01-02-2007 07:38 AM

Lets see, he leads the team in tackles with 54, has 1.5 sacks, 1 int. and 5 deflected passes. He can keep quiet:hihi:

luds 01-02-2007 07:48 AM

He has had some big tackles recently. The announcers just have not focused on him like past seasons.

Vectorfisher 01-02-2007 08:02 AM

He is a shell of what he used to be. Kind of funny how HGH was never mentioned, the guy goes from SUPERSTUD to average at best after a mysterious stroke that had no permanent damage or lasting effects

Instead of being so negative you should try and keep things on a positive note.

Lets discuss the Steelers possible run to the Superbowl.

Well that was quick...what will we talk about next.

And to keep things Positive.....I'm POSITIVE the Steelers will not be in the Superbowl this year

I'll have to double check that stat though.
Yup, you're right TDF.:rollem:

BigFish 01-02-2007 03:56 PM

I know the numbers are there....but they never mention him????

boot man 01-03-2007 07:56 AM

Who are "they"? Do you watch the games at all?

He doesnt get mentioned in the press here because he does what is expected of him. Yeah, he's that good now.

Who do "they" mention?

BigFish 01-03-2007 07:59 AM

The media....mostly the game announcers. And...yes...I watch the games.....that was the point of my question!:)

HGH, yeah right. He's 6'1", 247. Avg size at Wareham HS. Set the NCAA record for sacks as a (get this) Defensive Lineman. Started as a freshman.

Again, he's no longer considered an over achiever. He's just good, that's all, not a big human interest story anymore. Consistency at a high level will do that to you.

PoPin Plug 01-03-2007 03:37 PM

YES! and rodney.... well he just got back but still we need waaaayyyy more hard hits!

i say let the post season begin and u should seee soemthing
