Anyone concerned about spring weather because of this very mild weather we are having....?? or do you think it matters.

BigFish 12-15-2006 06:20 PM

Nope! No worries....January will more than make up for all the warmth we have had......with lots of snow!:bgi:

MrHunters 12-15-2006 06:22 PM

its been a couple years.

BigFish 12-15-2006 06:23 PM

Upchunk, all kinds of positive stuff on that site.:jump:

The length of time it takes to start winter has no bearing on how long it lasts. Global warming sucks, but for right now...I'll take it!

Canalman 12-16-2006 09:20 PM

Been like this for the last 2 years... maybe not exactly like this, but warmer than it really should be... the season always begins on practically the same day

tattoobob 12-16-2006 10:55 PM

It's because it is my first year with a plow, it probably won't snow much, but I'm ready if it does.

Raven 12-17-2006 05:03 AM

likwid 12-17-2006 11:42 AM

We better get bombed and soon.
Otherwise I'm headed west or to yurp.

fishpoopoo 12-18-2006 05:56 AM

love it. i'm still getting fish as of last night.

heating bill's gonna be cheaper too. :heybaby:

gonna be murder on the sinuses this spring though if this keeps up ... warm winters mean lots of nasty tree pollen.

Thanks Bob! Spending money on snow removal equipment is a sure-fire way to ensure a snow free winter. Last year the guy in the office next door spent 2 thousand bucks on a snow blower, thats why last winter was so warm. Then again, I didn't buy any new ski equipment, so it may snow up north.

Swimmer 12-18-2006 12:07 PM

Remember this post when we are all outiside celaning up after the first big snowfall of the year.:hihi:

piemma 12-18-2006 12:10 PM

Still (as of Sat night) catching fish with Stripes. Loow heat bills. I LOVE it!!!

Bass Babe 12-18-2006 12:21 PM

But snow makes all the junk in the yard disappear and look pretty! Haha, three or four rusted bikes in a heap? No, that's a beautiful snow-covered bush. No...that's not a dead grill, that's a snowman! Though shoveling is SO not my favorite.

choggieman 12-18-2006 12:36 PM

with weather like this I will have to put my ice fishing tip-ups in inner tubes and float them out on the pond....

InTheHole 12-18-2006 12:59 PM

The rink is up in the back yard but if we don't get some cold weather soon I may just stock it with trout !!

Adamfishes 12-18-2006 09:22 PM

remember how much rain there was this summer? Now lets imagine that rain is snow....hold me?

fireguy 12-18-2006 09:24 PM

I am all for a winter like last year. Caught my first canal keeper on April 8. Thats almost 3 weeks better than any of my many seasons at the ditch. Caught my last November 20. That's no too unusual.

ChiefLinesider 12-18-2006 09:50 PM

I am looking forward to a Blizzard. Where all chaos breaks loose. Love that. Bring on the snow.
