Water Depth

Given that stripers are found at various water depths and that larger fish prefer to hang out near the bottom, is there a particular water depth where they are more apt to be, all other conditions being the same?

Good Question

I don`t think so.

Have seen large cows taken from shore in mild bath water conditions up to 40 lbs in very shallow water to boat caught cows deep down.... all depends on where they are feeding. I think all depths and conditions are viable at times.

They are where their food is! I usually am fishing somewhere else.:biglaugh:

However deep the bottom:kewl: is how deep the bass will be.
