Umbrella rigs and spinners

I fished with an old freind yesterday and he showed me a new way to rig the umbrella up with spinners. He puts on only five baits like I do with spinners but then he adds a spinner to each of the inside spots just to add more flash:eek: This was done with no hooks but I think a hook could be added to the back of the spinner just in case they hit the spinners and not the baits? Still very easy to get in and out of the water with no foul ups.

Was this technique successful?

I will be trying spinners fronting tube and worms tomorrow.

Does anyone troll tube and worms on an umbrella set-up, or strictly solo?

Does anyone know where to order those spinners online. Looks like a cool thing to add to my secret shad umbrellas.

Thanks,
JohnP

spinners

You can get them at Bucko's in Fall River. Don't know about on line.
