It was an aged skin, one from last year I had salted in the fridge. I still got it. Sandy's going to have to put up with skins in the fridge for a little longer.

Hi NJS , I got one at slack on a Slipknot Swimmer then nothing for a long time then about an hour after you left Smokey got his and I got one 32 " within ten minutes then nothing again. Smokey got his at full tilt on the current so he had a good fight. I wonder if he'll want to go next week? :)

For the canal guys: has it been slow this year?

I seem to remember more reports coming out of the canal in past years. Maybe I have just been missing them. Just curious.

Nice fish smokey ! I wish I took my camera out of my truck this past weekend .

Got to start taking the camera. Keeping fish on friday means the trash is going to be ripe on thursday(pickup day). Here it is tuesday and I had tomove it to the back of the yard.
