What are your plans for New Year's Eve?

We're headed up to Charleston for a minor league hockey game. It has kind of become a family tradition. It is usually a 6:00 game and we get back before the amateurs get on the highway.
What is everyone else doing?

BigFish 12-30-2006 09:06 AM

Staying safe at home with Angie and the boys...they have a friend staying over! Never was one for going out Nw Years Eve....as stated too many amateurs on the road!:buds: :buds: :buds: :buds: :buds:

Backbeach Jake 12-30-2006 09:34 AM

Jen and I stay home these days and enjoy a nice dinner and the evening.

Karl F 12-30-2006 09:40 AM

Dispense Happpy Juice from 12-5, then home, snack on some sill (swedish pickled herring and onions), and shrimp cocktail, have a quite dinner with the family, and hit the hay ...

Happy and HEALTHY New Year to all here on SB.com!:btu:

I haven't gone out on New Years Eve in over 15 years, same reason as above. Probably the most dangerous night to be on the road at 1 AM.

Staying home with the kids and playing games. My son got Guitar Hero 1 & 2 for PS2 and we're addicted already. Maybe watch Spinal Tap afterward :bl:

I'm working from 3pm until 7am on New Years Day. It's one day each year I don't mind missing. As far as I'm concerned, nothing good ever comes from it.

Happy New Years everybody. Please be safe.

And, once again, I will be the only sober one on the road at 1am besides the limo drivers and cabbies.
