Kids were on computer, googled it, watched it, as I did. It gave them (the kids) some closure in that doers of bad do get punished. I thought their reaction was very telling of their age group (13-14), given their age on 9/11 and how they are growing up through all this.
They were not at all shocked.

it was a commentary about a hanging this inmate got and this reporter had to watch....right? and he said the guy dropped real fast...
then swung around several times back and forth.....and they finally pulled a curtain across until he stopped swinging,choking, and dying.

i've seen better hanging videos ... you know, when the poor bloke's head just comes clean off and blood gushes everywhere.

saddam's execution video basically sucks ... lousy quality (phone cam) and the money shot is lost...until you see flashes of him swinging and his neck cricked sharply to the right.

look closely enough and you'll see him BLINKING after his spinal cord is severed.

he was a wicked man who deserved to be put to death.

i will say, however, by all appearances, he went to the gallows and his fate like a man.

i confess i felt strangely bad for this man.

Perhaps I did not make myself clear enough Ben - it wasn't the hanging video, it was the fact that the website you linked for the video had a lot of adult content. That is bad for this site.

Got what he deserved. Typicall Mid Eastern operation with absolutely no organization and total chaos. And we expect this country to run itself when we leave? It's as good as it's going to get now, we should leave and let them try to recover on their own.

I just don't want to find myself in an Iraqi exicution house... That place looked like the gateway to hell...
