RI - PJ Mackeral Spots
 

Anyone getting any mackeral around PJ lately? I wanna do some live-lining mackeral, but need to know of some "hot spots".

They gotta be gone by now, right? I think - but don't quote me on this - that the last Rhody schools of Mackeral move out of Newport late May to mid June...They'll probably be gone from Boston Harbor soon too :(

I would think they would be gone but I keep seeing images on my fishfinder that look identicle to the one's I would see about a month back when they were plentiful. I haven't had a mackeral rig with me to try for them though.

Small shad and small blues are an option right now.
