An eighth-grade boy on Cape Cod is accused of sexual assault
looks like I'm a criminal, I touched, kissed, groped, insulted, chased, stalked girls since I was in 6th or 7th grade. Me and my friends called their body parts everything imaginable, to their faces. Isn't that what growing up is all about?????
BOSTON -- An eighth-grade boy on Cape Cod is accused of sexually assaulting several of his female classmates. Four girls filed complaints against the Nauset Regional Middle School student in connection with alleged incidents that date back to June, according to the Cape Cod Times. The alleged assaults took place inside the Orleans, Mass., school, and some incidents involved the boy kissing the girls and inappropriately touching them, the paper reported Friday. The school was investigating the claims. An attorney for the boy's family denied the allegations. |

Wanted or unwanted physical attention is the key. I agree with you about what we all did as kids, but nowadays there are people out there that hear from the children about something that has happened and watch out.

Personally....If that were my daughter, I would put him through the Nearest F'ing Wall....More than once.

I think this should become more of an isolasionist society....abolish schools altogether, demolish them, save all the money that goes into upkeep and maintaining them and school everyone on the internet! :tm:
Society....as I have said....continues the spiral downward like a flushed toilet!!!:conf: |

For most people it is! Right TattooBob?:hihi:

I'd have to give Cape schools credit for being as progressive as any other in the country these days, and kids are taught about things like inappropriate touching and being violent, and the consequences that can come from each, long before 8th grade, and at least in our schools, there's zero tolerance if you break the rules. However, as Swimmer said, there are parents out there who will make a mountain out of a molehill based on heresay from their kids.

Hmmm. 8th grade is a little late to be doing that kinda stuff.

These things can be extremely difficult to get a handle on. The child tells the parent when the child becomes scared for one reason or another. If its a young lady then it could be her over reactives girlfriends saying he shouldn't have kissed you or whatever else the kid may have done___________fill in the blank. The girl comes home one day and her mother starts to chat her daughter up trying to be a good mother, so the girl confides something to the mother. And then the chit hits the fan. Mom talks to dad, dad and mom have another chat with the girl and they go to the school and then the police. Everybodies hands are tied. Charges are sought most of time in these instances based on just one person's story, because if they are not brought then the parents will sue the local p.d. D.S.S. is brought in to oversee the victims best interest regardless of the family background. Boy or girl perpetrator, and it can be a female perpetrator, is brought to court for arraignment and then a date for trial comes up and the victim and her family decides that it was much ado about nothing, and it probably was, then refuse to come to court. Charges dismissed. And this occurs even when it is very serious, such as rape or indecent assault, not just when it might be considered improper touching (kissing)(fanny patting). My post here only relates for the most part to kids stuff. Certainly, when it is a serious felony type crime people testifiy more often, but all of you would be amazed at what goes south because what was extrordinarily important just a short time ago becomes meaningless a ferw months later. And when it becomes meaningless one has to wonder just what was true in the accusation to begin with.

Striperondafly I'm gonna tell your mom you said that!

I guess im some sort of deviant. But we used to smack rear ends with rulers, try to look up skirts, snap bra straps, etc. Like I said, I went to a small town catholic school. The public school kids were way worse that us. I thought that is normal.
If that happened to my daughter? I'd tell her to smack him in the head with a rock, and then I'd tell her to get used to it, because until she is old and ugly, every guy she meets is going to try to get her in bed. |
Wonder if the kid will have to register as a Sex Offender.

Oh and my Daughter was taught to kick as hard as she can in the shins or between the legs, it only has to happen once and they will never do it again, I can send the Mohawk kid over to settle things now like what happened last summer.

Do you guys remember the brilliant MIT students, there were two, who streaked at the Harvard/Yale game. They are going to have to register as sex offenders, and yes juveniles have to register.

back to what bigfish was sayin
online education has many advantages...
there's no more getting stuck behind a school bus ....ever again all that cost of buses, fuel, and smog is gone for good. if the classroom is at home.... no bullies or sexual assaults can happen anymore the taxes are lower.... no huge high maintenance school buildings being heated overnight when students are sleeping. the list is long.... although it doesn't allow for much social interaction or say school athletic programs... so somehow you have to combine the two...to have more education or better quality schooling and still cut costs.... ( students travel time gets converted to study time for example) if the school had events on the weekends perhaps... :read: |

But that was then. Not now. |

If there's a delinquency finding on a charge of indecent A&B on a minor, the answer is yes. However, I'd be shocked if it gets that far. Likely continued a year without a finding, with some counseling as an added condition. |
