Daiwa Saltiga Manual is in Japanese

I've got the manual that came with the reel but unfortunately I don't understand Japanese. Does anyone know if there is an available version in english?

Same here,I bought a Diawa powersurf and the manual is in japanese, fortunatly it's small and it's basically simple.I meen it's just a fishing reel not a kitchen cabinet that you have to put together. There's not much more to know.

Talked with Daiwa customer service. They basically said to clean it, apply light machine oil and replace lube, same as most reels. They did tell me to make sure to disassemble and oil the line roller. Hex screws appear to be metric.

Crap hex screws! I have one of these on the way in the mail. Looks like I'll be making a trip to Home Depot shortly.

I mis-spoke. They are allen screws, not hex.

I think Bucko's is an authorized warranty center for Daiwa.
