S-B feeding pattern at PI river mouth are changing!
Hi S-B members:
I found the pattern the SB hangling around near PI river mouth has changed since last week. S-Bs used to be concentrated at river mouth (Late april to earily June) near jetty or sand bar at last one third of the out-going tide but gradually they spread around everywhere in the river (I checked every fishman while I walked back to the parking lot and I found most of them caught about the same amount of schollees I caught at the jetty)--I, therefore, conclude that Jetty will not be the best spot at the PI mouth, at least, at the last one third of out-going tide. Actually, I did carefully watch boat people fishing at the river as well as at ocean near jettey, and I found that they can not consistently catch fish either, when I fish at the jetty. Therefore, most of them fish off-shore after they could not locate striper at the river. At this time of year, any other comment on the S-B feeding pattern near river or jetty please reply this post. Since I am looking forward to understand the S-B feeding pattern better . --I guess the some S-B are moving to the north of PI and some are feeding on mack off-shore, so they are spreading out quite a lot !
