Nut Island Fishing Pier
 
I was thinking about fishing this spot, Is it any good and does anyone have advice for this spot? Thanks.

brooksie that pier. can be very good at times it seems clams do well there. if you want to plug . walk to the left thers a little rock jetty verry good pluging spot. also to the right side is a good spot to plug theres rocks and a little jetty on the out going. if you do fish the pier. make sure you have a peir net. or drop net. it is a long way to haul a fish up. i see some guys use treble gaffs there but i don,t recomend it to many small fish .the gaff will kill them. but it is a good spot . and it can produce some nice fish. good luck

Good luck finding room to fish there now. It has been in the fishing reports too much. It has been elbow to elbow the last couple of times I have been down there.

Thanks for the info. I hate fishing when tons of people are around so I might have to pass on it.
