Any surprises cleaning a Shimano reel?

I am cleaning my Shimano Sp-6000 for first time.
Did I read a while back in these threads that there
is a spring loaded part that if not handled properly will spew
parts all over?? Parts shematic does not show any
potential problems but......Any advise would be
appreciated. Four months to go. :walk: Hang loose.

I don;t know about the spheros... but the stradic has a few secrets.. thanks to F18 I know them. When you remove the rotor... the underside is gray plastic with 6 screws... you should only remove the 3 longer ones... remove them... leave the short ones in place, inside that piece is where that exploding spring is. Then when you remove the side plate there are 2 small nuts that are held in place by the plate, when you take it off if you don;t know about them they will fall out and be gone forever.

Thanks Dave, the schematic for my Spheros 6000 does
show 6 screws holding the rotor and underneath is the
"bail trip lever spring" which F18 is probably referring to.
Will proceed with caution. Geez, almost like brain surgery.
Thank you Dr. Dave for consultation. No Fee,of Course.
