Sagamore Beach

I am getting ready to head down to Sagamore Beach for the next couple of weeks. Has anyone had success surf fishing on this beach?

Thanks in advance,

Newbie

Where is Sagamore Beach?

I'm sorry,...I should have been more specific. Sagamore beach is one of the last beaches before you get to the Cape Cod Canal.

Sagamore Beach is a few miles north of Scusset Beach. It has a few small jetties and is fairly shallow. A few very good sized bass are taken here around this time of year on cut bait but the fall can see some numbers showing up in this area when bait is pushed up close. Fairly inconsistant fishing but has a shot at a 40+. I like the areas further north towards Manumet Point.

Thanks for the reply.................how much further north is Manumet Point?

Its less than ten miles. A few spots to try are Ellisville Beach, Priscilla Beach, and White Hourse Beach all of these areas are on maps. Parking can be tough, try the areas where beach meets rocks all thes areas are north towards the power plant.
