So ahhhh, I'll be looking for advice on good cod spots in NH, any advice?

for groundfish head toward stellwagen and east .
get some good binocs and look for bending rods.
Remember to hit the M.O.B. on gps when your on em, then work that drift till it stops producing.

it was only a matter of time before someone said something :) I was pulling into the ramp, give me a little credit.........

do those spots have another name on the charts? if not, what type of water will i be looking for?

Great Bay is a nice marina and very protected, but in my mind it makes for a long ride down the Picataqua to any of the off-shore spots for cod or tuna.

The trip to Halfway Hump and back would be an all day affair. You're probably better off running to some of the spots east of Boon Island.

taJon 01-25-2007 05:39 PM

how far east of boone island is boone ledge? According to the info I got, its only 20mins out of the river. Is that incorrect?

thefishingfreak 01-25-2007 06:25 PM

i didn't realize it was up the pasquatica. thats a hike.

when we going:hee:

taJon 01-25-2007 06:38 PM

may 1st. I was just using google earth and a 30 mile radius gets us just to jefferies ledge. not too bad, should just be a little over an hour to get there. my boat goes about 25 kts in cruise, not toooooo bad, but not as close as I was used to in gloucester.

fishermanjim 01-25-2007 07:47 PM
