So do ya think...
that the flu had anything to do with the Pats D being gassed?? Not looking for excuses but..I've never seen them gassed that fast,,I know they were reporting a bunch of them had the flu the week before...
[OR WAS THAT ALL A DREAM AND THE GAME IS REALLY THIS SUNDAY?]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4.../23_28_101.gifhttp://smilies.sofrayt.com/fsc/sobbing.gif |
Not sure,This was the first week of cooler weather winter season..
If u work out there in it u know what it does to ya.. These things must plague all teams though u really can't make excuses.. I bet quite a few Pats fans have flu-like symptoms today.. |
yeah dave it had to have some effect on them, flu was going through team right up to gametime. i know when ever i've had the flu i have minimal energy. colts played very well.

No excuses...they just got beat......period.
Spring Training in April |
They throw the "Flu" word around too much! If they had the Flu as it normally presents itself they would have been on the pot all week with it coming out both ends! A cold is not the flu and it seems like that is what was going around! My opinion is they got beat....plain and simple....no excuses!:hs:

Dave....ever have the Flu? I had it once! On my arse for a week and lost 10 pounds.....they did not have the flu! Simply more dramatic than saying they had a "cold".:bc:

It was amazing that # 32 and #52 had significant minutes in the game. I have no idea who they are but IMO the pats at full speed would have a hard time stopping Indy but with some defensive scrubs they had no chance.
I also heard a report that Vrabel had to move to the outside which put # 52 on the inside which allowed Indy to go over the top all through the second half...Indy took advantage. They need new inside line backers as bruschi is getting old. The flu may be the reason why the scrubs were in the game...but we will NEVER know. I am not a fan of Indy but believe they will beat chicago. |
Patriots do need some new linebackers!!!
I would have replaced #52 at linebacker with Troy Brown!!! This would have made it tougher to complete passes over the middle with the speedier Brown in there!!! Pats just did not make adjustments in the 2nd half!!! They had a good season overall with the players they had though!!! |
What happened to Dillon?
I didn't see him at all in the 2nd half. And Maroney could buy a yard. No running game at all in the second half? Whats up with that? |
Maroney looked like a deer in the headlights anytime he was handed the ball!
