I agree!

I smoke and I use my ashtray in my truck.

Not much pisses me off more than seeing a fellow smoker sitting in their car or driving and then flipping their butt out the window and on the ground.

I mean come on, they put ashtrays in vehicles for a reason.

If you don't smoke then yes they make pretty good coin holders but if you do smoke put trash where it belongs, I even have ashtrays on my boat and it's a center console.

what kills me is seeing people stopped at a traffic light dumping out their whole ashtray onto the road. :hs:

I don't smoke but it seems like many of those who do discard them out the window while I'm behind them.

On a side note, the local Honey Farms parking lot is not an appropriate place to urinate. Last night I saw a male peeing on the side of the building and two nights ago a female squating in the parking lot next to her vehicle. Carry on.

disgusting habit. I had one about 10 years ago that someone threw out and the damn thing bounced into the back of the truck through the side window. Almost lit me on fire.:rocketem:

yeah everytime that happens I always hope nobody has a gas leak or something because it could blow up the car!

I agree with all of the above and would like to add the dreaded "green winter spit".

I hate when I see anything thrown out of a car window..Littering sucks..:sick:

back in the early seventies......we followed a fire truck down to west island (fairhaven) because i lived down there and wanted to see who's house was on fire... ok

well, we get down there and the shows about over so we are leaving... heading back to town ...smoke was getting into our car....

i flicked a cigarette butt out the window onto the dirt road ...or so i thought... actually it bounced off the door frame
and came back inside the car landing right inside my coat pocket.

the car was full of smoke from the fire....and yet no matter how far we drove away....the car continued to fill up with smoke....as i had no idea the coat i had on was on fire.... lol until finally i felt the heat...

it was pretty darn funny though to everyone else... but the fire hole in my coat wasn't ... i quit smoking not long afterwards.

Not to change the subject but I was cutting steel rods with a grinding wheel at work on a COLD winter day when my leg started to get exceptionally warm. FIRE FIRE! Boot laces first then pants-very embarassing.

I had a car in front of me fire a cigarette out through his sunroof. When it came down it landed on my windshield and since I wasn't moving very quickly it settled down under my windshield wipers.

Road rage ensued...
