White Deer Tails for Sale!!!
Hi All , I had this posted in the classifieds a few weeks ago and some of you might not have seen it so I ask JohnR if I could post it here.
Some of you newbies may not know it but every year my mom down in PA cleans and dries a bunch of deer tails from our family butcher shop. The money all goes to her for her painting supplies and stuff as she has a really neat gourd hobbie and makes some pretty cool stuff and her a dad are on a pretty limmited income. SO anyway I have alot of large tails at $7.00 each and they are large if you want to ask some of the guys on here who have purchased over the last several years. I have some small at $5 each that the hair is not quite that long but will work fine for bucktail jigs and teasers, or treble hooks. Plus $3 shipping per order!!! If anybody interested please drop me a PM as to how many you want. Your name and address and I will get them in the mail. I will only except cash or checks as I do not a pay pail account. Ok they go pretty fast so who wants them!!!! __________________ |
The stuff is top notch. I have a question, anyone have any advise on how to dye a bucktail? Is it worth the effort? P.
|
I still have a few left :)
I need more :) Prof - yes - rit dye works well - I'll see if I can find a link |

I'll happily vouch that these are beautiful tails! (only because I received mine already! :boots:
I too figured that dyeing the White tails would be a mess... FW if you decide to dye colors yourself that look as nice as the White... I'll take many more! The whole rainbow not necessary: say Chartreuse, Red & Black for a first- run? :humpty: |
its easy - do it yourself
Veniard Dyes are great - expensive Kool - aid and rit dye work fine |
Sorry Guys, I just don't have the time to dye them right now. Maybe some day. I have also hear that rit dye works well but have never dyed tails myself.
Thanks to all who have ordered by the way!!!! |
All of you who have ordered in the last few days the tails are in the mail.
thanks Jules |
I have been reading good things about these bucktails. Are there any left?

Hi bob, yes I still have about 60 large tails left and about 40 small, drop me a PM if you are interested as I just got another order for some and will be putting them in the mail in a day or so.

Hello there.
Were you the last booth on the left at the MSBA show? If so, I purchased a bunch of the $5 tails and have to say I love em. Very fine hair. Any chance you have more left? - ATG |

Jules - any deer tails available?? I am running low again.
Thanks, Brian Mullaney |
RIT dye. Also , to make a jet black from a white tail , dye it red , let it dry , then dye it black.

Striperondafly - Jules is down PA right now visiting and hunting with family. As always I'm sure she'll be returning with tails.
I'd shoot her a PM that she'd see when she returns home to her PC. |
