The newer 6500s in Sports Authority are the MADE IN ASIA brand, unless they are still on the shelf from years ago. the USA brand used to sell there for $119.00

frank that's about what i remembered. this reel hasn't seen water more thatn twice. it's only a backup to my shimanos $75 is a fair deal with the line included.

Brand new and in the box just sold on fleabay for 58. I will give you 60.

75 is a great deal for that reel, I wish I could but I just bought a VS300 Today

I will give you $75 for the Penn 6500 if it is still available.

i won't be there jim due to my hand issues. having problems driving etc my left arm is getting fatigued very easily right noiw to the point of being painful.

Sorry to hear about your hand. I will mail the funds to the address that the CT Surfcasters on record. I will not be using the reel upon recipt due to the on coming weather.
