It's only 5" an 1.8 oz an my second shot at rattle can SCALES :conf: I cant get them EVEN always get OVER SPRAY. is it because Im using RATTLE CANS ??? guess the fish wont care.

Lots of good info in past threads about scale painting......but I still suck at it anyways. Another nice simple plug. How do you fish those.......on top? like a needle? or like a jig?

When you're using rattle cans, you have to hold the lure farther away -- like 18 inches -- from the can's nozzle, and just "dust" it with paint. If it needs more paint, WAIT a few minutes for the first dusting to flash, then dust it again.

PASurfer, thank you Ill give it a shot on my next one.

Numbskull, I put--> 3--> Double 00 buck shot in the belly line. when the weather clears Ill take them SWIMMING would like to see them hang about a foot or two below the surface, for fishing the flats. But Ill throw them into the surf anyways.
