question..

seeing as I have run out of dowels, I need to get more, due to massive enthusiasm about getting the shapes I want, I never really measured them. What are the sizes that are frequently used, I want to make a zara spook like topwater for stripers. Which diameters should I use?

Thanks! :wavey:

Whatever diameter you think is appropriate for the plug you are making. Obviously, a 12 inch long plug will have a larger diameter than a 6 inch one of the same style. Why not measure the diameter of your finished plugs and go from there?
