I did these a few weeks ago.got the lips from MIKE there 5" long an 1" round, havent weight them yet. I did put a couple OO's in the belly. it's my first try at them. I now know that I need BELLY HOOKS, so Ill add some later this week, an the NEXT ones will have SINGLE rear hook. that it. see you all at the PLUG FEST.

Before you make too many, test 'em. I think you will find you want a belly hook (as you've mentioned) but also you will want to put the lip slot in the midline and the line tie below midline. Once you've got the belly hook in, balance the plug with the hooks attached and put your weight at the balance point (as a starting point). Good luck.
