Women are from where, and Men are from where?
So we have our little, small, secret stash of cash, the wife and I, mainly generated by birthday and anniversary gifts from the in-laws and so on. We use it to go out to a nice dinner once in awhile, or splurge on something we both want.
Well, she took a "withdrawl" this morning, to buy an "Easter Wreath". I don't even know what a frigging Easter Wreath is, but I do know we will hang it up for a month, then put it down in the basement to hang with the 47 other "holiday" wreathes we have until next year, when we will probably buy a different one, as the one we have is a year old. But we won't throw the year-old one away, because it is "nice", and the saga continues. :wall: |
Tell her you want to buy some "Easter Plugs" and they will hang in the living room for a month and then do double duty in the water and the man-cave! Fair is fair!:bl2:
Women are funny Rich...can't wear the same dress twice...."Because they have already seen it once".....or hang the same wreath!/1/1 Heaven forbid!;) |
Don't forget the Trump Card...."But I got it on Sale"
Easter Wreath???? The only words that should follow the word Easter are Bunny, Basket, and Ham |
Easter Dinner, Easter Eggs, Easter Plug Ho!:laugha:

WTF is an Easter wreath?
|
I have no idea what an Easter Wreath is, other than it is another "creation" linked to a holiday which our better half will be tempted to buy and display.
The good news is she got home, I helped unload the groceries from Stoppada Shoppada and did not see any "wreath" nor a Christmas Tree Shop bag hiding the same. I'm sure it's not the end of it, but I was just blowing off steam - it's all a compromise - plugs, equipment, single malt scotch - a few wreathes. |

single malt is a necessity, it's not a bargaining chip...hell it's before toilet paper on the list!:bl2:

i think old wreathes are fire hazards...and if they are artificial...
then they could have been recycled... what ever happened to the old tradition of grabbing a pair of pruning shears and cutting vines and branches to make your own? i was seeing wreathes selling for $25-30 dollars in my area... thats nuts!! also this thing with holiday flags...is getting out of hand too. :hs: |
Keep that woman away from the Christmas Tree Shops!!!!;)
|
The Christmas Tree Shop is pretty cheap, though! I can tackily decorate for each holiday, even the minor ones, for the price of a few plugs. It makes me feel useful and homemaker-y. RRC wasn't too thrilled about my bunny windsock, though. I may have to hang it in my car.
