My wife and I are looking at a house where the back yard backs right up to a small pond :hihi:

I tested yesterday.
It felt like fishing season was nowere in sight. |
Numbskull, Tagger and I stood on a guano covered dock in Sandwich and tested some stuff. Tagger and Numby really do some nice work.
Artists really. Made my stuff look like chit I always feel inadequate when they are testing thier latest creations. Thanks for lunch George! |

In fairness, I think the Hahn will swim in fast current OK. It's problem,
which some of mine share, is that it is too bouyant and as you slow your retrieve it looses its bite and comes to the surface. That is no good for a plug you want to fish in slower water in the dark. Fixing it is not as simple as adding weight, however, since the shape of the face is important as well. One of the things I've come to appreciate is that a truely good plug will do what you want it to do in different conditions and at different retrieve speeds, even when you can't see what it is doing. Achieving that goal is no easy feat. |
