2 Attachment(s)
Pappa's got a brand new bag...
Beachmaster Cowboy clones...Sort of. Some weighted to dif deep, others to splash around on the surface. Then, some big heavy needles. Again borrowed the BM shape, but wieghted to sink SLIGHTY tail down and come in subsurface. |

I really like the swimmers.:kewl:
|
nice stuff. What style lips are you using on the swimmers if you don't mind telling?

I used the A-40's from NJ. The are bigger than the orig BM Cowboy lips. Makes for great tail shakin on the surface, plus enough lip to swim the heavier ones down deep. These are big girls. The "lighter" which swim at or very near the surface are around 3.7-3.8 ounces The heavier ones which dive down are 4+ |
Very serious looking plugs. Nicely done.:claps:

seen them needles swim first hand and I'll tell ya they swim nice. Will be fishing them this year, good job Joe.

Great looking paint work. I like the way the fogging of the pink needle and the dark tops came out in the swimmers. How do you keep the overspray from going too far down the side? Do you use small spray cans or regular size spray cans?

I spray the top and bottom of the plug first then hit the flanks. To get a smaller "stripe" on top. Also keep the spray a good distance from the plug. You want it to be more "misted" than sprayed (usually). |
