very sweet boat. I love the angle on the stern. Flag blue hull is beautiful. Nice console/hard top.

that kind of money can go a long way. But if thats the one for you, go for it.

that was just the boat/motor/trailer... price tag was on the gunnel... no electronics.... thats a lotta clams for a 20ft boat.

it did include the bracket option though :)

Yeah.
Blacklab or 26 the cabin is mine :D

but nice choice Bill!

keeperreaper 03-04-2007 08:58 PM

When blacklab comes out with a heavier boat in terms of weight with more deadrise and a 24 degree entry I will switch to the metal boats but until then... I talked to Jay about it at length with some other ideas for the design. He showed me a "prototype "drawing with these characteristics I think in a 28' cabin model. It looked real nice. All lightweight boats will knock your fillings out regardless of their name or builder. But back to the G20. nice looking not so nice $$$ tag. For that money there are a lot better boats in that size class.

RIROCKHOUND 03-04-2007 09:05 PM

Very true KR
but had the opportunity to use a Stanley aluminum boat this summer and she handled the chop very well!

That's a pretty boat #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&, hopefully it will be yours in a few years.

thefishingfreak 03-04-2007 10:37 PM

nice, you could fish tuna/shark from that..

No Comment

eelman 03-05-2007 06:35 AM

Well, Thanks for the "Sticker Shock" Guys! That brings me back to reality fast! I had no idea they were 54K...Thats to many Clams for my budget...I still can dream....You have to admit it is a purdy boat !

Well I will modify this and say "If I could afford" Any CC This would be it..Just love the lines on this boat, the huge flare in the front etc..Its a looker for sure...

sorry to rain on your parade. MrHunters and I couldn't believe it when we saw how much they were at the show.

But somebody's buyin' 'em, coz they keep buildin' 'em!:D

MrHunters 03-05-2007 09:16 AM

yea sorry bout that #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&....

I didn't say it to get you down.... I just was so surprised when I turned the tag over.

I liked the idea of a local guy building my boat... especially when its that purty... I looked at gboats as well as easterns but both were so far out of my price range. Easterns were a little more reasonable but not built as well judging from what i saw at the boat show. Price quote for an eastern 22 fisherman last year was 45K. Still unattainable by my standards. They say 20K on the website but that is just the hull.

anyway... i'm sorry to being the barer of "reality".... I dream more than most :)

fish4striper 03-05-2007 09:42 AM

that's a sweet looking boat...
