Looking to throw a tandem rigged slug-go

I need a rod to sling a weighted 9 or 12" slug-go from the surfwithout needing rotator cuff surgery at the end of the week but strong enough to turn the head of a decent striper. 9' seems about the right to work it.
on the fence between a lamiglas 1084 and 1083 or maybe the off the shelf Loomis SUR1064S 8.5'
Anyone's ideas/comments/suggestions would be appreciated.

Do a search, there are a couple of good threads about this from last year
