Didnt know rod building could be dangerous.

Im sure its not dangerous for most people, i just have crap luck i guess. I was re-wrapping a rod today, first time ever and the exacto knife rolls off the table, and like a true mensa candidate i close my legs so it wont fall and id have to drop my bobbin. I did the susan summers thigh master on the knife and it went in to the handle. Good thing it was a brand new blade, only cut a couple pieces of thread. Kinda happy i got stuck with a 5/0 two years ago and had to get the tetnis.

Zoinks! glad you are semi-ok, stick with double edge razor blades, they don't roll :hee:

Saltheart 03-13-2007 07:55 AM

I have dropped blades and luckily just got cuts in my pants or a little jab in the thigh. I have often thought that the potential for a good cut or worst case , castration was always there! :)
