I don't even use pliers on a shark that size. Cut the line. No hook is worth the chance. He's lucky he wasn't alone. A couple good shakes of the head and he could have been losing fingers or be in need of serious reconstructive surgery.

Jim, that begs an interesting question. Has Denise ever had to stich up a shark bite?
