Gag's new "Wad" Needlefish

Gag’s “Wad” Needlefish

Our fishing club was fortunate to have Al Gag speak at our meeting last night. Entertaining as ever, Al gave us an overview of his product line including his new “wad” needlefish. He had a dozen of so of these new needles on hand and they looked great. Great finish, 8 or so inches long, between 3 and 4 ounces. They felt well balanced.
Of course the proof is in the pudding and the real test will be how they work in the field. But based on Al’s track record he may have another winner here. If you like to fish needles you may want to seek these out.

My neighbor is in on the development of the show. He says it may not happen this year.

Al has been working on a fishing show with ESPN for several years now. When it comes on he'll probably win a grammy or an oscar or something for it.

I got one a few months ago, seems like it will work well, nice and heavy and rear weighted, haven't had a chance to swim it yet, only thing I didn't like is that the stick-on eyes fell off immediately, so I just super glued them back on, but he should think about epoxying the eyes on, I did real well last fall with his 7" flippin mullet and I have good expectations for this needle.

I used the Gag's "wad" needle with success during 2007 and found it to be impressive.
