earliest stripers in the Narrow River

Anyone fish the Narrow River know when the Stripers get in (typically)? I heard from an old salt (Bob Sharp) he roams the beach near there surf casting in the summers. He told me that some stripers hold over in the Narrow River through the winter. Anyone else hear this?
Thanks,
Joe

I usually fish the sod banks just north of the first bridge. Where exactly do they hold up?? Thanks in advance. I was hoping to cast the new Z-axis I built this winter when I head up to the saltwater show on the 30th.
Tight lines,
-Joe
