Not Bass but not bad...
:bl:
Just got back from a Texas Gulf coast trip with the bride. Got a few Reds, Speckled Trout, Rays & Catfish but the most fun were the Spanish Mackerel. They run from 10 inches to 2 feet plus and are hit and run drag burners, great on light (6-10lb.) spinning tackle. Interesting mix of weather and tasty chow made for a great trip. Catch'em up, Capt. Spent several years fishing the TX. Gulf coast. Was fortunate enough to be able to catch some truly large bull Reds(15+lbs) in the surf.Plus some nice Pomps.I do miss it.
