with Vista. Won't support some of my drivers, says the drivers are for XP or ME. Would Microsoft have patches or maybe the Manufacturers of the particular periferals? Thanks

microsoft sometimes is like quicksand......
the more you search the deeper you sink....
so i'd look to the peripheral manufacturers first
and see if the have any Vista drivers...

..........because from what i've read... there is no support files yet.

but one of the best sources is google... put in: vista drivers...?

or type a typical statement... my whatzit won't work on vista
and you'll arrive at a techie blog with a possible solution.

good advice raven. its unfortunate how big the lack of drivers are for normal devices. from big companies no less.

if you can't find anything now bbj be patient... all the companies are playing catchup. microsoft revised the code between final beta and release candidate 1. Thats why companies like creative had to release the beta driver with the launch of vista.

companies will catch up it will just take time.

hmmmm I have heard nothing but horror stories about vista
