New time its nice getting home from work in the daylight. Sunshine has me daydreaming out the window all day at work. I'm a wreck though....I think am going to start frothing at the mouth or something ....like an ANIMAL.........hibernation is over. Give me that sultry night on the beach. Salt, sand, stars....oh yeah and stripers

:ss:

I replaced all my hooks last sunday and cleaned up the plug bags and tackle depot, what a nightmare with a new cat in the house. Did the reels a few weeks ago. All i need to do now is replace a few guides and get a new rod and im a good too go.

if only catching fish was as easy as catching a cat. I feel your pain my friend. Man are they dumb :gf::tm:

Raven 03-22-2007 07:52 AM

cats and plugs

i had this friggan cat that just loved lures....

prolly cuz i used ta go cat fishin hookless for him
with a catnip mouse....
if ya ever need a good belly laugh-> thats the way....

anyways...that S.O.B. got into my tacklebox one day
he had all the lures everywhere....tangled, pissin me off bigtime

"i thought" i had every stinkin plug back where it belonged
and i picked up my camouflage parachute for hiding my rig

i was whirling it into a ball wicked fast
.....to stow it away....
and "Son of a gun" there was one plug left in the middle
and i buried that treble hook right into
my hand so deep i had to go to the hospital. :hs:

MrHunters 03-22-2007 07:56 AM

im only chuckling because Im glad im not alone :)

spooling new line is also a chore....

dont even get me started on trying to change guitar strings. I can't believe she still has both her eyes.

Raven 03-22-2007 08:03 AM

ya gotta

buy a bunch of the mini superballs.....
and ya keepem in the bag of catnip....
easy to get rid of kitty and then they
bat that ball around....all day long...

Swimmer 03-22-2007 10:59 AM

BillyBlanks 03-22-2007 11:10 AM

Hey All,

I remember seeing a posting somewhere on here about tourneys this year. Fresh and salt. I think someone was talking about putting some together. Any ideas?

The Dad Fisherman 03-22-2007 12:16 PM

They started stocking the Northeast region this week...another week and they should be hitting the ponds in my area.

Rockfish9 03-22-2007 12:41 PM

I'm going to make my last icefishing trip Sunday..

but for today, I work in an Industrial park... lots of office buildings... I just returned from Grainger picking up parts... lots of lovely lasses enjoing a walk in the sun... I LOVE SPRING!

Rob Rockcrawler 03-22-2007 03:45 PM

I want to display some plugs on the wall but i know the friggin cat will find a way to play with em. I walked in the door with a couple today and she didnt care bout food or saying hello wanted the needle with the bucktail...

fishsmith 03-22-2007 03:52 PM

fresh stockies + little gold lure= easy pickins. I'll be casting a line in about an hour.
