for those of you who make coffee at home or change containers on the road, which brand/model of coffee mug keeps yours the hottest, longest? mine seems to get cold real quick.

i have one from nargene errr nargel....(the unbreakable one) the brand that makes the water bottle... can't think of the exact name right now but it keeps it hot for a couple hours.

heat the cup in the microwave before leaving...

but ya need... a double insulated themos...
to really have hot coffee on the road.

i think instead of asking google ill just come here and ask raven. something so simple but man thats a good tip :cheers:

I use the wat mug

If you mug is not microwave friendly, fill it up with the hottest water your tap will give you.. let it sit for 45 seconds and then dump it & add your brew.

My brother has one that plugs into the cigarette lighter..Can even regulate the temperature

One that plugs into the 12V adaptor or lighter of your car ;)

I have one I plug in to the lighter and it keeps it hot up 130 or 140 degrees. Wife bought it for me a couple of years ago. I look at the name and pm you with it. You can set it to one degree at a time. Just went out to look for a name and it isn't on it. I would bet it came from REI at the Hingham store though.

Fill cup with boiled water, leave in the cup till you get to DD, dump and fill, stays hot for long time!!
